Infener joins the German Hydrogen Association (DWV)
Munich/Berlin, 10th of July – Infener AG has become a new member of the German Hydrogen Association (DWV) e.V.. This marks a significant milestone for the Swiss company, which specialises in decentralised and hybrid production of green hydrogen. With a growing pipeline of scalable H₂ projects across Germany and Europe, Infener brings more than fresh entrepreneurial spirit to the association – it brings real infrastructure, ready to deliver what others are still planning.
Founded in 1996, the DWV connects stakeholders across the hydrogen value chain and promotes the ecological and economic potential of hydrogen technologies. A particular focus is the development of a functioning user market – a goal Infener actively supports with real-world projects in cities, industrial zones and local networks.
Through its DWV membership, Infener is expanding its policy presence and bringing practical expertise into the association’s work – helping to build a resilient, emissions-free hydrogen economy in Germany and beyond.
About INFENER
Infener is building the infrastructure for green hydrogen – not someday, but today. With headquarters in Switzerland and offices in Germany, Portugal and Norway, the company develops hybrid H2 hubs, integrated hydrogen solutions and H₂-based products that reduce pressure on electricity grids, decarbonise industry, and future-proof municipal energy systems.
Infener’s approach: scalable, grid-supportive systems combining electrolysis, storage technologies and smart control. Since its founding in 2023, Infener has pursued a clear goal – to establish a decentralised and economically viable green hydrogen economy that delivers impact now. With products like the Ecore One – awarded the German Innovation Award and the Red Dot Design Award – and a growing portfolio of realised H2 hubs and integrated solutions, Infener is helping to answer some of the energy transition’s most urgent questions.
